The Best Senior Athlete award for 2015-16 was presented to Sierra Witt and Trey Ivins. This is the highest honor that the athletic department awards to student-athletes and is presented annually to the top senior male and female athletes.  Recipients are those student-athletes judged to best demonstrate a combination of athletic excellence and ambassadorship while participating in athletics at New Covenant Schools.

Sierra Witt: Captain volleyball and basketball, 2015 volleyball MVP, 2016 basketball and soccer Gryphon Award, only recipient of 2016 "Iron Gryphon Award" (12 seasons of sports at NCS).

Trey Ivins: Captain soccer and lacrosse, 2015 MVP lacrosse, 2016 Gryphon Award for soccer & lacrosse, 2015 VACA 1st team all-region and 1st team all-state.
